Great food and friendly vibes!

We stayed for 2 nights in a budget room and loved the food. Seriously, the meals were like home-cooked goodness! Staff were super nice. The room was basic tho. It really needs a refresh. Bar noise could be annoying if you're a light sleeper. All in all, a decent spot!

The food at the pub was fantastic, and I loved unwinding in the cozy garden area while sipping on my coffee. There’s a lovely space for chilling out with a book and another spot by the flowers for some fresh air. The TV didn’t have great reception, but I didn't let it ruin my stay! 😊

We enjoyed visiting Shay Stadium and the Eureka Museum for Children. The place has a cozy vibe and is a good spot to unwind after a day out. The casks are in good shape, and even though I missed breakfast, I've...  

It was a suitable option for one night in Halifax with value for price. Breakfast was a hot buffet with unlimited coffee and fresh food. If you have trouble finding the reception, just ask around for help.

This charming inn features really good homemade food, including delicious natural cut fries, complemented by friendly and helpful staff who enhance the experience. The quaint atmosphere and clean, cozy Budget Double Room was good, though the decor shows signs of age. Unfortunately, a rude interaction with staff during check-out left a sour note, detracting from an otherwise pleasant visit.

Just a nice choice for getting around Halifax area with good value for price. The warm atmosphere and great selection of beers really stood out. Be sure to try the homecooked breakfast. It's worth it.

Comfy stay in a cute spot

The cozy room was super clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The staff were really friendly and helped us find stuff to do around town. Only bummer was the small bathroom. Plus, enjoyed some yummy homemade food at the little bar. Would def come back!

The food was insane, I mean that roast was like a piece of heaven on a plate just hit the spot after a long drive. And the staff, they were friendly, like they really cared you know, makes a difference....  

Generous breakfast options set the tone for the stay. The nearby water adds a scenic touch, perfect for a quick walk to clear your mind after a night spent in a compact room.

The Budget Double Room feels cramped, with barely enough space to maneuver around the bed, and the wardrobe door drags on the carpet. Bathrooms are particularly narrow, forcing a sideways shuffle to reach the toilet, and the shower door design is clumsy-it gets caught on the toilet, complicating use. A lack of basic amenities like plastic cups and blackout options also detracts from the experience. The noise from the bar below is disruptive, impacting rest during the night.
